The texts, stron\u00adgly shaped by poli\u00adtics, reflect per\u00adso\u00adnal expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adces and thoughts. I&nbsp;wro\u00adte them 40&nbsp;years ago in GDR pri\u00adson, whe\u00adre I&nbsp;ser\u00adved 18 months for try\u00ading to flee the coun\u00adtry (8 months of which in a&nbsp;STASI prison).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of the\u00adse poems ear\u00adned me addi\u00adtio\u00adnal pen\u00adal\u00adties while impri\u00adso\u00adned, which I&nbsp;took with a&nbsp;smi\u00adle\u200a\u2014\u200aand they even inspi\u00adred me to wri\u00adte more poli\u00adti\u00adcal ver\u00adses. Neither 72&nbsp;days in soli\u00adta\u00adry con\u00adfi\u00adne\u00adment, nor 18&nbsp;days and nights in a&nbsp;dark base\u00adment, nor hun\u00adger strikes, nor the STASI pri\u00adson hos\u00adpi\u00adtal and other harass\u00adments could break me. I&nbsp;was 24&nbsp;years old and full of ener\u00adgy\u200a\u2014\u200ajust like&nbsp;today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About fif\u00adty poems were writ\u00adten back then, in 1984, many of which will be musi\u00adcal\u00adly adapt\u00aded and released on future CDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This first CD includes the first 13 songs (11 of which are from 1984). The ori\u00adgi\u00adnal poems rare\u00adly had refrains, sin\u00adce I&nbsp;didn\u2019t intend them for music back then. The first demos alre\u00ada\u00addy spark\u00aded deba\u00adte: some pre\u00adfer\u00adred the sof\u00adter, others the more powerful ver\u00adsi\u00adons. That\u2019s how the idea came to crea\u00adte two ver\u00adsi\u00adons of each of the 13 songs, resul\u00adting in 26 tracks with over two hours of total playtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Later this year, Hun\u00adga\u00adri\u00adan and Eng\u00adlish ver\u00adsi\u00adons of this CD will also be released\u200a\u2014\u200aand fans will be able to purcha\u00adse all three ver\u00adsi\u00adons on a&nbsp;sin\u00adgle DVD, for the pri\u00adce of one CD (see below:<strong> \u201cTen Advan\u00adta\u00adges for Fans on Band\u00adcamp\u201d<\/strong>, point&nbsp;2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of the ori\u00adgi\u00adnal poems from 1984 still express the same thoughts and truths as they did for\u00adty years ago.<br>It\u2019s striking how litt\u00adle has chan\u00adged in terms of power and con\u00adtrol over the past four decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Music as a&nbsp;Heal\u00ading Force!<\/strong><br>This CD shows powerful\u00adly how music helps pro\u00adcess poli\u00adti\u00adcal, social and per\u00adso\u00adnal expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adces. It trans\u00adforms the past so that it\u2019s not mere\u00adly a&nbsp;sad memo\u00adry, but beco\u00admes an ele\u00adment of heal\u00ading\u200a\u2014\u200adri\u00adving away the dark shadows of what was lived through, wit\u00adhout gran\u00adting tho\u00adse nega\u00adti\u00adve ener\u00adgies more power than they deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thus, the music of my first CD is a&nbsp;beam of light that breaks through and over\u00adco\u00admes the dark\u00adness of the past \u2013 trans\u00adforming once-tor\u00admen\u00adting memo\u00adries into gent\u00adle, audi\u00adble, musi\u00adcal echo\u00ades that give us free\u00addom to dwell in the sto\u00adries of the songs wit\u00adhout being ful\u00adly con\u00adsu\u00admed by their tra\u00adgic spell.
